Masters of Hardcore was born at 1996 in the Hemkade in Zaandam (NL). Presenting the best of the best in hardcore, Masters of Hardcore made her name true. Also the label Masters of Hardcore released her first records around that time. The first release was from the U.S.A. The nr.1 hardcore deejay from the States Rob Gee teamed up with J.D.A. with the result “Rock the Natas”.
Around 1998 the hardcore scene in the Netherlands reached her lowest point. The major labels where no longer interested in hardcore music and the big event promoters choose to organize more common dance music, such as trance and club. Many hardcore producers and deejays didn't know what to do and the die-hard hardcore fans didn't know where to go.
Nobody believed in hardcore anymore.....
.....except for one!
Masters of Hardcore started to organize their parties as an independent and Bass-D & King Matthew decided to continue to produce hardcore music on the Masters of Hardcore label.
The first party they did was complete sold out and from that moment on Hardcore could breath again. Bass-D & King Matthew teamed up with Buzz Fuzz, DJ Paul and The Masochist and the Masters of Hardcore label became more popular then ever.
Masters of Hardcore has grown to the nr.1 hardcore concept of the world.
People from all around the globe are coming to the Netherlands to be a withness of the famous Masters of Hardcore parties. After the Hemkade in Zaandam , Masters of Hardcore is now organized in the bigger location of the Netherlands . Such as The Beursgebouw in Eindhoven and the PBH-Hallen in Zuidlaren, where ten thousands of freaks come together.
Masters of Hardcore is still on the move to get the hardcore scene to a higher level. With new producers and new deejays and with a cd-compilation series that sells world-wide over 200.000 pieces.
As long as the die-hard crowd is there, Masters of Hardcore will continue to bring the harder sounds to you.
Abandonned by people who didn't believe in hardcore anymore and forbidden by ignorant politicians, you know we have one message:
